The GST Network starts facility for return filing and paying taxes on the portal.
The online facility for filing first tax returns under the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime is fully functional now. All the businesses need to do is just log into their account at the GSTN Portal and file their GSTR–3B return any time.
“The window for filing GSTR–3B has opened on August 5 and is fully functional now,” stated GSTN Chairman Navin Kumar.
In order to file GST returns for July and August, the taxpayer needs to fill up GSTR-3B form and provide consolidated details of outward supplies and input credit.
The taxpayer has to file a summary of self-assessed liabilities, input tax credit (ITC) and details of tax payment, a PTI report said.
The last date of filing the GSTR–3B for July and August 2017 is 20 August and 20 September 2017, respectively.
