Mindtree has appointed Pradip Menon as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from Monday.
Mindtree is a global technology services and digital transformation company, with headquarters in Bangalore.
In a filing to stock exchanges, the company said, "We would like to bring to your kind notice that the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held today (September 24, 2018), has approved the appointment of Mr. Pradip Menon as the Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from today, based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee."
Pradip has over 25 years of experience in CPG sector across developing as well as developed markets.
Prior to joining Mindtree, he was CFO and Whole-time Director for AkzoNobel in India. He also worked for over 20 years with Unilever in multiple roles both in India as well as Singapore, Dubai and Switzerland. He has rich experience in core finance as well as business partnering.
In 2016, he was recognised by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) as one of the most influential CFOs in India.
The newly appointed CFO is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
