1,080 kmph Hyperloop tech to cut your travel by half

The government is likely to consider a proposal to cut travel time between both Mumbai and Delhi and Mumbai and Chennai by half to just an hour.

Soon the travel time between both Mumbai and Delhi and Mumbai and Chennai will be cut by half, if the government considers the proposal of working on the Hyperloop technology.
Hyperloop One - the company that is making the new global high-speed travel solution called Hyperloop - would hold discussions with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways regarding potential national projects in the country.
If the proposal is accepted, the travel time between Chennai and Bengaluru could come down to 20 minutes from an hour earlier, on the other hand one can travel to Bengaluru from Thiruvananthapuram in just 30 minutes. At present it takes 70 minutes of flying time to reach Thiruvananthapuram from Bengaluru.
This technology allows a person to travel with the speed of 1,080 km per hour. Hyperloop offers aviation-like speed, train-like capacity and metro-like convenience.
Hyperloop One is set to hold the final leg of its competition on February 27 and 28, in New Delhi.
It is the only company in the world that is working on the Hyperloop technology. It has a test site in the middle of the desert in the state of Nevada in North America.
